Dragon Boat Chair Exercise with Daryl

Experience being a dragon boat paddler in this modified 45-minute upper body workout. Learn about the different types of warm up, paddling technique and cool down. Benefits include increased cardiovascular fitness, upper-body strength especially core, back and shoulders.
This beginner level class is suitable for all levels, especially those who wish to try our a new sport.
Attire: Do wear something that you can exercise comfortably in and remember to find a spot that allows for ample space to move about as we want you to be safe at all times during the workout.

Energetic and outgoing, Daryl graduated with a Diploma in Sports and Exercises student from Republic Polytechnic and obtained his fitness certification from the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA). He has experience in conducting physical training in a group setting. His fitness journey begins a decade ago with the intention of living a healthy lifestyle. He enjoys running, resistance training and occasionally paddles during the weekend. He has represented the school team in multiple competitions such as DBS Marina Regatta, POL-ITE and Singapore River Regatta. Daryl is a firm believer of “prevention is better than cure” by exercising regularly through the means of various exercise modalities.
