Take A Step Towards Active Ageing With Our Brain Games And Live Workout Session!
Part of active ageing involves being in good physical, social and mental health throughout the ageing process. During this period of social isolation, ASPIRE55 wants to do our part to help our members to remain active by introducing some activities that can be done at the comfort of your own home. For this particular catch up session that will be happening on Zoom, we have prepared some brain games to trigger your brain juices followed by a live workout session to energize you for the week ahead.
Yi Yan, one of our interns,would be introducing you to some brain exercises! These exercises can be done alone, or with your friends and family. Subsequently, our trainer, Sam, will be guiding you through a series of movement exercises that focuses mainly on mobility.
You will need the following equipment:
- A chair for stability
- 2 x 500ml bottle
- 1x 1.5ml bottle
(You may use weights as a substitute for the bottle)
During the session, the exercises will be demonstrated first for you to see and understand how the movement should be performed. As you perform, the trainer and staff present will keep a keen eye out on your form and feedback will be provided to facilitate your workout session. So, make sure you find a good spot to set up your camera! Do wear something that you can exercise comfortably in and remember to find a spot that allows for ample space to move about as we want you to be safe at all times during the workout.
The catch up session will commence at 10am and is expected to end around 1030am. The Live Workout Session by Sam will begin at 1030am.
