Drawing Workshop with Ian de Souza
The Private Museum (TPM) will be hosting a series of drawing workshops for ASPIRE55. During these two weeks, you will get to learn how to draw different subjects from Ian de Souza, the artist for our upcoming exhibition Clear Light: Ian de Souza.
Ian de Souza is a full-time artist and educator with a career that spans 33 years. His approach to his practice is highly disciplined and includes weekly figure drawing sessions and teaching commitments. The sustained force of his artistic exploration is the fluid connection between light, line, colour and movement.
In addition to having the rare chance to study under an artist as established as Ian, drawing has shown to have many health benefits to. They include improved memory and problem-solving skills as well as helping to relieve stress.
