ASPIRE55 Holidays to Hidden Japan - Nagoya Experience Briefing 9 Feb
Come attend the briefing this Saturday to hear about this uniquely customised ASPIRE55 holiday experience to Nagoya and Mie Prefectures in Central Japan. The trip will take place from May 19 to May 26, 2019 and limited to 16 pax only.
Raina is a Japan-travel specialist who’s been living in Japan for 10 years and counting. These days, she’s mainly a travel writer and photographer, while also freelancing as a guide and translator/interpreter. She will be conducting the 30 min briefing and sharing what you would expect to experience if you come for the trip.
From Raina - “Ulu Japan” is one of my favourite themes and there’s so much to see and do off the tourist radar, especially in the remote islands and peninsulas of Japan. Of course, one of the drawbacks of ulu travelling is the time it takes to get there, but more than the end point and as cliche as it sounds, it’s also about the journey to get there.
As your tour guide, you can expect your trip to be more on the ulu side rather than city sights. There’d be a strong emphasis on local delights, so do not expect large shopping malls, chain stores and restaurants. A typical itinerary would have a mix of outdoors and nature, scenic spots, delicious food, hands-on experiences.
