ASPIRE55 Future of Active Ageing Seminar
The upcoming ASPIRE55 Future of Active Ageing Seminars 2018 series will kickstart from 7 October 2018 (Sun) every fortnight. Each two hour seminar includes 2 speakers presenting followed by audience Q&A. Our venue partner for this three month series is Jadescape at 17 Bishan Place.
Every two weeks, you will be hearing from curated industry speakers across a variety of topics relating to successful ageing. Although Singapore is facing the challenges of an ageing population, we are also able to learn from the best of global care innovations so that we can adopt the best strategies that enable our 50+ community to experience ageing in a healthier, more independent and dignified manner in future. The biggest question we should be asking ourselves is not about how long we will long, but how healthy we will be in the years that we are alive, and how can we enable successful ageing-in-place.

Dr Michael Bryant (Chiropractic, USA), Director, Elite Spine Centres, Singapore
Dr. Michael Bryant (Chiropractic, USA) completed a rigorous program of study at the University of Michigan in Cell and Molecular Biology / Pre-Medicine, and spent a brief period working in the research and biotech / pharmaceutical industries after completing his undergraduate studies. It was during this time that he gained an appreciation for the passion of many working within biological research, but also witnessed first-hand some of the shortcomings of the medical field as a whole in how it translated into producing a healthy population. Over the past 7 years in Singapore, Dr. Bryant has developed a unique system of treatment combining different manual therapies, advanced therapeutic equipment, and rehabilitative exercise that has helped thousands of Singaporeans get out of pain and improve their quality of life in many ways.
