The CPR+AED Certification @ SHF is a 4-hour course that enables participants to learn how to determine unresponsiveness, activate emergency medical services as well as perform CPR and use AED on adult casualties.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving technique useful in many emergencies, including a heart attack or near drowning, in which someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped.
CPR and defibrillation, provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest, can significantly increase a victim’s chance of survival. In fact, for every minute that nothing is done to resuscitate the victim, the chance of survival drops by 7-10%.
Get trained and equipped with the necessary life-saving skills and confidence to respond during cardiac emergencies.
